Keeping piping system flexible enough supports plant to live a quiet life. Resilient support plays the major role to realize such concept. As a provision of design code B31.3, Piping systems shall have sufficient flexibility to prevent thermal expansion (or contraction) or movements of piping supports and terminals from causing failure, Leakage, over stress or distortion. This course provides a sufficient knowledge to handle this type of hardware such as spring, flexible bellows and dampers. It covers the whole cycle of each type, starting by design and ends at maintenance.
